– Harmonic Acoustic Trio
With heart-felt vocals and knock-your-socks-off harmonies, City of Roses has become one of New England’s premier acoustic acts. Their virtuoso musicianship defies any one category. Stephen Gilligan, Linda Picceri, and Michelle Tanguay, talented singer/songwriters and veterans of the Boston music scene, have created a sound that flows smoothly from folk to rock, country to blues, reminiscent of Crosby, Stills & Nash, Emmylou Harris, and Manhattan Transfer. City of Roses delivers the kind of crowd-pleasing performance that stays with you long after you leave the show.

Kim Davidson's entertainment career is as varied as it is long. Over the past 20 years her performance history has included musical theater and dance, film and television work, a cruise ship revue, a variety of cabaret and dinner theater acts, two acoustic duos, one wedding band, and two country bands performing covers before she finally set out on her own to fulfill the dream of performing her own music. As a writer Kim has a penchant for melancholy, love-lorn fare. She balances moody, emotional lyrics against often upbeat melody lines, while her voice lends itself with a range and scope of sound few possess, running the gamut from fragile to sultry to bring-the-house-down & every nuance in between. Kim is a graduate of AMDA, New York and current student of Andover Educators, studying to teach the course "What Every Musician Needs To Know About The Body." Her debut album, "Free Therapy" is set for release in mid-2008.

After a successful ten-year climb up the corporate ladder, I assessed the view from above, took a deep breath and decided to jump. Landing softly on my piano bench, I was comforted by the sentiments that floated inside me longing to be a rhythmic wave of melody. I traded in the navy power suit and fancy wheels in search of the missing rung that has revealed itself in words and music. After experiencing unconditional love and unfathomable loss in my life, I have found my voice with an even stronger yearning. My fingers forged a second home dancing on my Martin in the evenings as my newborn children slept. I am very blessed and grateful to have found my passion...to live my dream of having the courage to share my private thoughts and emotions in hopes of connecting to a collective compilation of human spirit along this harmonic journey we call life. Thank you for your support! May all you wish for be on it's way... .

– Distinctive, Poetic Original Songs
Susan Levine is a favorite on the Boston acoustic music scene. Her songs, inspired by her extensive travels, are laced with evocative images and suffused with poetic vision. She delivers her songs with bottomless sincerity and playfulness. Her powerful, warm voice has been likened in its grace, range, and flexibility to Emmylou Harris and Nanci Griffith. The poetry and heart in her lyrics and the emotional investment in her performances cause her loyal audiences to come back for more.
